We had 6 days to see Beijing. But obviously there is so much to see and to do in Beijing, we have hard time selecting places to visit, and that is not as easy as there are so many attractions.

We have prepared to spend half day in Forbidden City during our 4 days trip, but it is so huge that you can fill your whole day wandering around palaces, pavilions, halls, gates and exhibitions inside. fortunately we met some students who has guided us and told us a lot of thing about it. I highly recommend Forbidden city for any one visiting Beijing.

Your friend’ words are right, the weather of Beijing in August is very hot so you can come to Beijing in Autumn ,The short but beautiful autumn from mid-September to the end of October is the golden season for travel Beijing. Autumn in Beijing is cool and comfortable, with mild temperature and plenty of sunshine. Long-sleeved shirts and thin coats are enough for autumn.
