An exclusive 4X4 drive to Lop Nor Lake

Day 1 Urumqi
To arrive in Urumqi, meet and greet at the airport or railway station,transfer to the hotel,a meeting will be held to give related information to members, stay in Tunhe Grand Hotel or the similar(4-star)
Day 2 Urumqi/Dikan’er (driving 310km)
Set out from Urumqi, to Dikan’er via Turpan, and in the process of going to Dikan’er, visit the site of ancient Jiaohe City, and Karez, stay in the tent.
Day 3 Dikan’er/Mountain Pass camp site (driving 100km)
Start out from Dikan’er to Mountain Pass campsite via Iron Mineral, and with desert and Gobi accompany you all the way along, camping tonight.
Day 4 Mountain Pass camp site/Dragon City (driving 90km)
Set out from Mountain Pass campsite to Dragon City via Kumtag Mountain. The Dragon City is one of three Yardan Groups in Lop Nur Lake and located on the north bank of Lop Nur Lake. All the earth pads arrange in the east-west direction and look like dragons seen from distance, thus the name Dragon City was called, camping.
Day 5 Dragon City/the South bank of Lop Nur lake (driving 180km)
To leave Dragon City to the site where Mr.Yu Chunshun died, the famous Chinese adventurer. In June 1996, Mr.Yu Chunshun got lost here and died of thirstiness where it is only 2 km away from the spot where he buried water and food. After visiting the tomb of Yu Chunshun, go to the dried center of Lop Nur Lake where the tourists often leave memorials; Cross the center of Lop Nur lake known as Da’erduo Lake (Big Ear Lake) to south bank of Lop Nur Lake and camp there.
DAY 6 South bank of Lop Nur Lake/Ruoqiang (driving 260km)
Set off from the south bank of Lop Nur Lake, go along the northern side of Altun Mountain and reach Honwei. If luck, the tourists can see wild animals on the way.The rest of the day is to visit the site of an important ancient city on the south silk road. This ancient city once served as the capital of Loulan Kindom and there is the best-preserved ancient castle. The tourists will also visit the ancient city of Milan where there are scattered folk dwellings and Buddhist towers. Then the tourists will arrive in Ruoqiang via No.36 Regiment of Production and Construction, stay in Loulan Hotel.
Day 7 Ruoqiang/Korla/Yuli(driving 500km)
From Ruoqiang to Yuli County, we will take the No.218 National Highway. Yuli County is We will visit the villages of ancient Lop Nur people, and view the Tarim River and Hu poplars in desert in Yuli County. At evening,we will arrive in Korla.Stay in Petroleum Hotel (4-star).
Day 8 Korla/Urumi (driving 480 km)
Set out from Korla, we drive back to the city life again,our group will arrive at Urumqi.Stay in Tunhe Grand Hotel or the similar (4-star)
Day 9 Urumqi/
It’s time to say “Good-bye” to Lop Nur Lake and the members of 4X4explorer. The end of the tour.
