The Crown Plaza Hangzhou (Huangguan dajiudian) is located in the east of
Hangzhou, about 5 km from the International Airport, 2 km from the railway
station and 8 km from the West Lake. This is not the ideal location for
those coming to see the sights, but is a nice looking and quiet location
good for relaxation or business.
A four star hotel, the Crown Plaza has a 12-storey main structure and a 3-storey
side building, and they have both been designed and decorated in mock classical
European style. The whole compound houses 180 guestrooms ranging from standard
rooms, to five executive and one presidential suite. All of the rooms are
equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV with in-house movies, IDD
telephones, minibar/refrigerator, and private safety boxes. An executive floor
and a non-smoking floor are available for the needs of business travelers and
special guests.
Out of your room are also a variety of further facilities. More practical services
include a ball room with 300-400 seats, a function room with 30 seats meeting
rooms, a business center that provides secretarial, photocopying, fax, and
internet services, an airline desk, money exchange , baby sitting services and a
shopping arcade. For recreation there is also good variety, from billiards
disco dancing and bowling, to swimming, sitting in the jacuzzi or steaming in
the sauna. Beauty may be found in either the gym or the parlor.
For dining the hotel has fewer options. There is one Chinese restaurant and a
coffee shop.
