The East Asia Hotel (Dongya fandian) is located on Nanjing
Road and was built in 1914. The hotel is part of the former Shanghai
Sincere Company and was renovated in 1999.
This hotel enjoys a good location, about 18km from Hongqiao Airport and
3km from the railway station. Some of Shanghai’s most famous sights are
within walking distance of here including the Shanghai Museum,Shanghai Grand Theatre.
There are 140 guestrooms within the hotel, equipped with IDD, air conditioning and refrigerators.
The hotel also offers meeting and conference facilities and the business
centre here provides fax, typing, photocopying and internet services.
The hotel has numerous restaurants serving a variety of dishes from all
