Brief intro: Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport is considered a Garden Airport due to its verdant setting and floral gardens and is one of the most important territorial airports in China. Covering an area of about 180 acres, the airport has a 3,600-meter (about 3,937 yards) airstrip, which can meet the take-off and landing requirements of planes from B747 to B400. The airport has 36 ticket management counters, amongst which 12 are for international ticket service. There are 2,900 seats in the Waiting Hall, VIP Lounges and First-class Lounges, all featuring modern designs and aimed to make your journey comfortable and enjoyable. Hangzhou currently attracts 126 airlines that offer flights to 13 International destinations, 44 Chinese cities and two regions.

There are five first-class lounges in Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport. No.1 lounge is located in International Departures Hall; while No.2, 3, 4, and 5 first-class lounges are to be found in Gate 16, Gate 19, Gate 20 and space between Gate 13 and Gate 15 in lounge areas for later flights. There are magazines and drinks available.

We will arrive at Hangzhou in early morning 6 o’clock and take another flight at 8 in the evening, we want to take our time to see round the city. But we have quite some luggage , is it possible to find a place in the airport to keep our luggage?

Is it safe to take a taxi at Hangzhou Airport? I am arriving in late evening and it is my first time in Hangzhou.

I think it is safe to take a taxi at the airport,if you still feel it is not safe , you can stay at the terminal.
