Huangshan Weather
Huangshan has a humid sub-tropical monsoon climate with four distinctive seasons. Spring and autumn are short, taking up two months individually; summer and winter are long, taking up four months individually. The area is warm and wet having a lot of rain and cloudy days and less sunshine throughout the year. The sun shines on an average of 151 days a year.
The temperature in Mt.Huangshan changes vertically, the climate of the mountain is varied on different elevation. It generally has 3 climate types from the base to top: subtropical mountain base, temperate mountainside and frigid mountaintop.
The weather of Mt.Huanghsan is uncertain and variable. When you’re going to ascend the mountain, you’ve got to take umbrella or raincoat with you even it’s a sunny day according to the weather forecast; weather forecast is not always correct due to the complicated terrain of the mountain.
All the year round is optimum time to visit Huangshan, if you reach there its unique scenes will not disappoint you!

I am going to visit Huangshan with my grandfather in the mid of October, he is 65 years old , is there a altitude problem with him? is it reasonable time to clime the mountain? thanks.

I am not sure there is altitude problem with him , first you should ask it from his physician. yes it is reasonable time to visit.
