We are in Hongkong and we will visit Tibet with my family by train or bus. is it easy to take visa for china,permit for Tibet ? how many days it will take time ? how much the cost for visa/permit ?and is it possible to visit without any tour and travel agency ?Thanks for your suggestion.

we will be travelling Tibet in early October, but as for us the altitude problems is important problem , Trekking the World’s Highest Peak , Meili Snow Mountain ? What is the average temperature during the night and day during ? What is a best way to dealing with the altitude problems?
