The snow mountain of JADE DRA
GON IS 5596 meters above sea level. It lies in the south foot of the Hengduan Mountains among tens of thousands of mountains and the interface of Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibet . It is the lowest in latitude in the Northern Hemisphere and the snow mountain that hasn’t been conquered by the humankind up to now. On the top of the mountain, there is pure white snow accumulated for thousands of years. The snow looks holy, pure ,peaceful and full of inspiration and poetic flavor. When you look at the snow mountain in the open space at the foot of the mountain. the pure white lets you and me forget ourselves .This is the place where the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Golf Club lies.
THE PLANT COVERIS FLOURISHING SURROUNDEDWITH GREENERY
The place where the club lies has advantaged elevation of 3,100 meters with the care of the high and stop snow mountains, It has flourishing plant cover and its yearly temperature is between 10 degrees to 23 degrees there are more than 5000kinds of vegetation growing here .When you walk here ,pure air and overflowing greenery is very refreshing. The land on which the golf course sits is the kind of land that Golf Course Architects dream about With gently rolling hills. Pine covered knolls, dramatic mountain streams and of course. Expansive and breathtaking views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the white possesses all the ingredients necessary to create a word class golf course. Because of the elevation of the land, we are creating one of the worlds longest golf courses, however one that can be tackled by all mortars as everyone hits the ball almost 20% longer here, the experience of hitting 300+yard drives from elevated lees towards massive snow covered mountains is one of the most exciting in golf, and one that all can enjoy at Jade

THE DESIGH OF THE GOLF COURSE
The course is scrupulously designed by Neil Haworth, the famous golf course architect, creating the longest course is of 8548 yards in the world. With 18-hole par-72 in a place of thin air and light centrifugal force, it is the only snow-mountain golf course in Asia. The construction was started in June, 2000 and opened for play in Oct.,2001. It has become the most golf course in China for its excellent geographic location, course design and project management. The course has ingenious layout with different natural landscape between the front nine and the back nine, golfers can be so relaxed and cozy when playing in such a Shangri-La course.
