The Metropolis Hotel (Dadushi jiudian) is a 7-storied building located in Shanghai
Huangpu district. The hotel is close to the Shanghai’s famous shopping street,
Nanjing road. The hotel is also close to some sights such as the Bund and People
Square.
There are 108 standard rooms and 5 exotic deluxe suites, which are decorated in
British, French, Japanese, Arabian and Hong Kong style. All rooms are equipped with
basic amenities.
The hotel’s Chinese restaurant serves Shanghai local cuisine and Cantonese and
Hangzhou cuisine. There is also a bar and coffee shop. Other facilities within the hotel
