The taxi fare is about ¥40 – ¥50 from the Ningbo Airport to most hotels. There is a ¥10 toll to enter the airport by car, which the taxi passenger must pay. Exiting the airport is free.

IMPORTANT WARNING! Recently, the taxi drivers at the airport will attempt to overcharge you. The white Audi taxis are especially bad. Insist that the driver use the meter. If there is not a taxi meter visible, get out of the taxi. The driver will tell you that it costs ¥80 – ¥100 to go to the city – this is not true! Get the taxi driver’s license number (located on the front passenger side) and call 96520 to complain. City taxi drivers are generally honest, it is only the bad apples at the airport who try to cheat you.
