Badaling is located in east longitude116°65’and north latitude40°25’, northwest of Beijing, about 60 kms away from Beijing. It is a between the green and steep Jundu Mountain. It was named according to a book of Ming dynasty, which said that the road was divided here to different directions and reach all places, so it was called Badaling.Badaling great wall is rather famous to the world, and it is the earliest part of the Great Wall opened to turists. There is a old proverb in China: a man who has not climbed the Great Wall is not a true man.
