Jin Mao Building is the symbolic architecture of Shanghai’s entry into 21st century. It is a China’s tallest and the world’s third tallest building, designed by the Chicago Office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and completed in August 1998. It is 420.5 meters in height, reaching 88 levels, among which 3 are basements, covering 58,000 sqm, one for catering, and the other two for basement garage.
