The Marine World is a kilometer stretch of sandy beach that is located outside the town of Shenzhen. It is popular with both the local residents as well as tourists and this is adequately manifested on the weekends when innumerable visitors from the city proper flock here to take a sun bath and swim in the tropical waters of the South China Sea. For those who are interested for some avid fun, there are the kayaks and jet skis available for rent, along with diving equipment.
