Nice post.My wife and I will be arriving at the airport(Gongar?)of Lhasa on 21st of this month.We would like to go to Shigatse ,but we still don’t know how to go there? which is transportation mode is convenient to go there?

It is possible to take a taxi or bus at the airport ? if my flight is late evening.which is convenient airport to the city center and please let me know ,the hotel with reasonable priced which is located near the travel attractions.

There is no airport in Shigatse, the only airport – Lhasa Gongor Airport is 400km from Shigatse .
Most of the tourist reach to Lhasa by air or by train after sighseeing in Lhasa ahead to Shigatse by couch . so it is impossible to take a taxi at the airport,if your flight is late evening.
