Suzhou Airport Entrance
22 kilometers southwest to the Suzhou City proper, Suzhou Guangfu Airport was opened in February, 1994 with 2 scheduled flights: one from Suzhou to Foshan and the other from Suzhou to Beijing.
The airport can handle 24,000 passengers and 150 tons of cargo every year and has a 2,100-square-meter waiting hall that can receive 400 passengers.

Suzhou Airport
Suzhou is the nearest city to Shanghai. From Shanghai to Suzou is sometimes quicker to go to some places in Shanghai. From Shanghai to Suzhou it takes just 1 hour or less of ride on Highway.
Suzhou is only 88 km away from Hongqiao Airport or 130 KM from Pudong Airport. So for most of the people who is going to Suzhou, the best choice is to go to Hongqiao Airport or Pudnog airport and take buses there.
There is a small airport in Suzhou and is just for goods transportation and not use for passenger transportion.
