Xining Tibet Train Travel 6 Days

Day01:Lhasa (D)

After being picked up from the Lhasa airport, you will drive a little ways into the city to your hotel and check in. Lhasa city is the highest capital in China and the capital of the Tibetan Autonomous Region. Here you will eat dinner at the best local restaurant in the area and then return to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.

• Day02:Lhasa (B/L/D)
  Today you will visit Norbulingka Park, the Sera Monastery and the Potala Palace. The Palace was built in 637 by the first king of Tibet, Songtsen Gampo. Afterwards you will visit a local Tibetan family and then head back to your hotel.

  Day03:Lhasa (B/L/D)

  In the morning you will visit the Tibetan Traditional Hospital, the Jokhang Temple and the Carpet Factory. Afterwards you will be brought back to your hotel for the rest of the day.

• Day04:Lhasa/Xining (B)
  After having breakfast in Lhasa, you will board an overnight luxury sleeper train and head to Xining.

• Day05:Xining (B/L/D)

  You will arrive in Xinning and be brought to a 4-star hotel to check-in. Next you will visit Dongguan Mosque and Ta”er Monastery. This mosque is located in the eastern area of Xinning and was built in the year 1380. Although not the oldest mosque, it is one of the largest in the province. Its assembly prayer hall can hold up to 3,000 people. Afterwards you will be brought back to your hotel.

  Day06:Xining (B)

  After you eat breakfast you will be brought to your hotel to leave for your next destination.
