Zhengzhou Airport
Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (IATA: CGO, ICAO: ZHCC) is the principal airport of Zhengzhou, Henan Province, People’s Republic of China.
Zhengzhou Airport airport is located 37 km southeast of Zhengzhou. It was opened on August 28, 1997, the 21st international airport in China. It was built to replace Dongjiao Airport, which lies in the immediate vicinity of downtown Zhengzhou.
There are domestic and regional flights from the airport to most major cities in the People’s Republic of China, international cargo flights to the Middle East and North Africa (including Etihad Airways and DAS Air Cargo) as well as charter flights to Thailand during the travel season.

equipped, the 3,400-meter-long (2 miles) runway is available for a full-loaded B747-400 and the parking apron offers 12 parking spaces for large airplanes.
Over 60 air routes connect the airport to 45 domestic and inter national cities and areas, including Hong Kong, Macau, Japan and Singapore, etc.

Zhengzhou Airport Transportation:
Airport shuttles pick up passengers at the Civil Aviation Hotel (Jinshui Lu, Zhengzhou) every hour from 6 am to 6 pm and depart from the airport following flight arrivals. The charge is CNY 15 per person.

Is it safe to take a taxi at Zhengzhou Airport? I am arriving in late evening and it is my first time in Zhengzhou.

I think it is safe to take a taxi at the Zhengzhou airport,even if your flight is late night, but you still do not feel safe , you can stay at the terminal resting area.

How do I get to Zhengzhou from hong kong? from guangzhou or shenzhen?

From Hong Kong, you could take a flight to get to Zhengzhou directly. On the other hand, Both of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport and Shenzhen Airport operate frequent domestic flights to Zhengzhou.
