Yes, there are three trains departing from Kunming to Zhengzhou, the fastest of which will take 32 hours. The ticket fare is about CNY760/soft-sleeper and CNY500/hard-sleeper. You could purchase the train tickets in Kunming on the spot. Suggested that you buy the ticket 3~7 days in advance.
