Zhenjiang Tours 1Day 01: Shanghai / Yangzhou/ Nanjing

A chauffeur will pick you up at your Shanghai hotel and then drive you to Yangzhou. Meet your local guide in Yangzhou. You will visit Slim West Lake and Daming Temple, two must-sees in Yangzhou. They are especially beautiful when flowers are in blossoms in spring. In the afternoon, pay a visit to Ge Garden. And then transfer to Nanjing – ever the capital city of six dynasties. Evening tour to Confucius Temple.
Check in a local hotel and have a good rest.
- Slender West Lake: Known as “Shou Xi Hu” in Chinese, it is one of Yang Zhou’s largest and most striking sights. The lake’s layout gave rise to its name – it runs along both sides of a remarkably slender lake which snakes through the north part of the city.

- Geyuan: In the eastern part of the Yangzhou city, there is a well-known classical garden, Ge Garden. It was first built during the Ming Dynasty. During the period from the Jiaqing Reign to the Daoguang Reign of the Qing Dynasty, Salt Distribution Commissioner Huang Zhiyun rebuilt the garden on its ruins. It is famous for its excellent collection of different types of bamboo and a garden design based on the four seasons of the year.

- Nanjing Confucius Temple: Centered on the ancient Confucius Temple (Fuzi Miao), this neighborhood in southern Nanjing is the place to be on weekends and holidays. Clothing shops and restaurants dominate the main streets (closed to vehicular traffic) while street stalls in the alleyways sell stuffed animals, plants, CDs and even more clothe

Day 02: Nanjing/Zhenjiang/Shanghai

Tour around Nanjing after your breakfast in the hotel.
In the morning, you will visit Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Nanjing Museum and Yangtze River Bridge.
Enjoy your lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon transfer back to Shanghai. On the way you will stop by Zhenjiang and visit Jinshan Temple Zhenjiang Tours 2
- Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge: In the north-west of the Yangtze River, connecting the urban areas with the Pukou District, it is one of China’s own design and construction of double-lane highways, railways dual-use bridge, December 29, 1968 completion.
- Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen: It is situated at the foot of the second peak of Mount Zijin (Purple Mountain) in Nanjing, China. Construction of the tomb started in January of 1926 and was finished in spring of 1929. The architect was Lu Yanzhi, who died shortly after it was finished.
- Nanjing Museum: It is one of the museums that our country established first. The predecessor of Nanjing Museum was the preparatory department of the National Museum, which was established in 1933, under the purpose of Mr. Cai Yuanpei, who was the modern democratic scholar.
- Gold Hill Temple: It is located at the top of Jinshan Hill. It is said that there was gold found in the hill 1,600 years ago, hence the name. Now the temple is the symbol of Zhenjiang. The structures of the temple are in harmony with the natural surroundings. The temple’s halls are built around the hill so that local people say “the temple wraps the hill”.

    We are 4 people and we are planning to travel Zhenjiang ,so we need some details about the Zhenjiang International airport. Is it close to city center and main travel attractions? Is transportation is convenient from the airport to the best hotels.I appreciate your help.

    Nice post, I am planning to Zhenjiang in the late December, but I have no specific travel plan on it, is it reasonable time to visit there? How about the winter travel attractions there and entertainment. Thanks for your suggestion.

    My friend and I are planning to visit Zhenjiang on national holiday, especially theSun Yat-sen, Nanjing Museum and Yangtze River Bridge.so is it available on that time or is it crowded? if so ,which is best time to go these places.
